The car may be kept on-site or transferred to an off-site car park in conjunction with Holiday Car Care.  The off-site car park has security barriers and a 24 hour guard.

Check-in/out and breakfast

Guests can check in from 2 pm and must check out by 12 noon.  A full English breakfast is available from 4.30 am to 10.30 am during the week and an hour later on weekends, to allow you a long lie (as long as you don’t have to get up to catch your flight!)

Shuttle bus

There’s a free shuttle bus for all guests to and from the airport.  It runs 24 hours a day on request and takes about 3 minutes to reach the terminals.

Hotel facilities

There are 3 places to eat in the hotel – the bar, which offers light meals, a restaurant with a choice of modern cuisines, and an oriental restaurant. Kids eat for free – a bonus for families trying to keep the costs of the holiday down. There are 8 meeting rooms available, with the largest holding 45 people, fully equipped with audio visual technology. The also hotel has a business centre, which has printing, faxing, photocopying and secretarial services and a PC you can use for a £7 charge. There’s WiFi access in the public areas of the hotel and the business centre, but it costs £15. There’s also a gym and sauna, so you can either work up a sweat or sit out a sweat!

Guest rooms

There are 294 air-conditioned, en suite bedrooms. You can choose from single, double or family rooms, or an Executive Suite. Connecting rooms and cots are available for those travelling with children. Standard rooms have satellite TV, pay per view movies, video games, telephone, mini bar, tea maker and iron. Executive rooms have all that plus free snacks, drinks and breakfast. They also have a turndown service and a separate check-in area. All the bedrooms have internet access, but there is a £15 charge for this and you have to connect with a cable. You can order room service 24 hours a day.

There are blue badge parking spaces outside the hotel and 2 accessible guest rooms inside. Guide dogs are welcome.

From the M56, exit at Junction 5, follow the signs for terminals 1 & 3.  Go past the Hilton on your left and you will come to a roundabout, go left and you will come immediately to another small roundabout.  The Crowne Plaza Manchester Airpor is on the left, between the Long Stay Car Park and Bewley’s Hotel.

Airport views

The Crowne Plaza is within the grounds of Manchester Airport, but it doesn’t get any runway views.  For that, try the Radisson.
